Fundraising

Each year, the Community Support Network (also known as the Free Horizon Montessori Foundation, a qualified 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization) raises money to directly support our school.  This year, we are excited to announce several new fundraising opportunities for FHM families to consider.  School fundraising traditions, such as Spring Fling and the Inspired Giving Campaign, are also on our list.  Additional information on each of the 2010-2011 FHM fund raising events presented below will be provided in upcoming CSN newsletters.

King Soopers Grocery Cards - King Sooper’s Reloadable Gift Cards are available for FHM families and friends to purchase.  Cards cost only $25 and are pre-loaded with $25 for King Soopers groceries or gas.  Five percent of all purchases made with your King Sooper’s cards is donated to our school. Use them all year long and continue to support FHM! Contact Katy Mays if you are interested in purchasing a card.

eScrip Program – Parents can contribute to FHM through the eScrip program.  It’s easy, visit the eScrip web site at www.escrip.com and register your participating grocery loyalty cards, credit cards, and debit cards.  A percentage of all purchases made at eScrip merchants will be given back to the CSN to support FHM.  For a list of participating merchants visit www.escrip.com.

2010-2011 Inspired Giving Campaign - The Inspired Giving Campaign is underway!   This direct giving fund raiser is one of our largest sources of revenue, of which every penny goes toward supporting our School.   Information on the Inspired Giving Campaign can be found in the parent lounge and on the CSN website. 

Sponsorship Program – Do you have a service or product you would like FHM families and friends to know about?  The CSN sponsorship program provides advertising opportunities for the external community and FHM families to promote services and products in the 2010/2011 Student Directory, Spring Fling Program and CSN Website.   Information about FHM 2010/2011 sponsorship program will be available to interested families and businesses in September.

Day & Night at Barnes & Noble - The FHM Day & Night at Barnes and Noble will take place on Dec 2, 2010.  Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of FHM Family and Friends’ purchases made on Dec. 2^nd to our school.   Purchase books for your holiday shopping list and support FHM at the same time!

Spring Fling - One of our most successful fundraisers, the Spring Fling event is a chance for parents to enjoy an evening with FHM teachers and staff while bidding on amazing products in our silent and live auctions.  Mark your calendars; this year’s Spring Fling is on March 20^th, 2011.

CSN 1^St Annual Rummage Sale - The first CSN Rummage Sale will take place in June 2011.  FHM families can donate items to be sold at our rummage sale. Proceeds from the sale will go directly to support FHM.
