Participate in CSN Sponsored Events
Participating in CSN Sponsored Events is a wonderful way to support your school while having fun. These events allow you to purchase items, support FHM financially, and spend time with friends and build relationships with the people within the FHM community. Events like the Scholastic Book Fair, Barnes and Noble Night and Spring Fling are wonderful 'fun'draising opportunities at FHM.
In-kind Donations
An in-kind donation is a non-cash gift which can be given a value. Please do not underestimate the power of this gift. Examples of in-kind gifts include a freezer, a piano, or sporting equipment. Remember "one man's junk is another man's treasure." Businesses are also allowed and encouraged to give "in-kind gifts".
Cartridges for Kids
What a great way to recycle, reduce landfill waste, and raise money for FHM. Simply bring your empty inkjet cartridges, digital cameras, iPods, DVDs, and other electronics to the FHM lobby. That's it. The unwanted electronics will be recycled and FHM receives the proceeds. You can even set up a box in the office where you work.
United Way
Every year United way conducts campaigns throughout companies in Colorado. If the company you work participates in the United Way campaign you can specify that your gift go to Free Horizon Montessori. You can also go one step further and encourage your coworkers to support FHM. Simply do a "write in" stating that you want your gift to go to Free Horizon Montessori and use the code 6010.
Corporate Matching
Some large corporations have matching gift programs. Through these programs, your gift is automatically doubled in most cases. Not sure if your company has a matching gift program? Please contact the CSN Fundraising Chairperson. We will research and find out how you can possibly double your gift to FHM at no additional cost to you.
Direct Giving
Direct Giving provides a huge benefit to FHM. 100% of your gift will be used to directly enhance the education of the students of FHM. And as a HUGE Benefit to you as a donor, your gift qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit (see details of this below).
